The BRENT SIGN COMPANY was established in 1939 by John F. Bresnik in Beverly Hills, California. In 1946, he moved to 2308 Sawtelle Boulevard in West Los Angeles.

His company was a major supplier of signs and other advertising media that developers and Realtor’s used during the aggressive growth of the West Los Angeles area from the late forties until the late sixties. Bresnik worked as a theater lobby poster artist in Hollywood during the thirties and used his design skills to produce some of the more attractive "for sale" signs and other signage used by many of the real estate brokers in the area.

In 1965, John (owner’s son) began his career at the Brent Sign Company. After twenty-seven years of service to the company, he assumed ownership after his father passed away in December of 1992. The company is now located in Escondido, California, approximately thirty miles north of San Diego. We are in the general sign business with a focus on digitally printed real estate signs, construction site signs, banners, vinyl decals and magnetic signs.

Our recent history includes a major project for Realtor.com. From January 1997 until January of 2000 we produced and shipped over 250,000 sign riders to thousands of Realtor.com members nationwide. These sign riders advertised their "Personal URL" and other contact information used in their advertising and marketing programs.
